Today, Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, met the university’s medical sector officials, Dr. Hisham Abdel Dayem, Dean of the National Liver Institute and Dr. Mahmoud Korah, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospital Board of Directors to follow up on the medical sector and implement the emergency plan implemented by the university to counter the spread of the new Corona virus and precautionary and preventive measures to combat the spread of Infection.

During the meeting, Mubarak reviewed the preparations of university hospitals to face this crisis and the extent of providing all the necessary needs for sterilization, disinfection and sanitary isolation work in the event of any infected cases, the extent of readiness in the extreme emergency situations that may occur, and the availability of medical devices that include industrial tele-devices, the monitor, shock devices Electrical, pumps, syringes, solutions, and follow-up training of doctors and nursing to deal with the affected cases, and the importance of providing them with protection means, stressing the cooperation of all concerned authorities to implement the state's plan to protect citizens.

 

The meeting was attended by the Vice-Presidents of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qasid for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Students affairs,  and Accountant Akram Abdel-Dayem, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of  Faculty of Arts and Media Adviser to the President of the University.
