Today, Dr. Adel Mubarak, Menoufia University President, inspected work at  the production unit of the Faculty of Home Economics that started to produce muzzles , head and foot covers and face and gowns , a contribution from the university to face the crisis of the new Corona virus, based on its societal role towards society, supporting the state institutions and working on providing these medical supplies for the sons of the university and citizens to prevent the spread of virus infection and reduce the burden of getting them.

The university president followed the stages of producing supplies and ensuring that all the protections and safety of the workshop staff are taken, and that necessary sterilization is carried out during the working hours and harnessing all the means to produce thousands of muzzles and other supplies, and inspected the raw materials purchased and matched the standards of health and treatment against bacteria which will be sterilized after manufacture at university hospitals and medical management to ensure their safety before distribution.

During his inspection tour, the university president thanked Dr. Sherif Sabri, the faculty dean and the assistant team from different departments, especially the clothes and textile department for their efforts in executing this initiative and exploiting the available possibilities in the college. This is a positive step in the university's plan to face the new Corona virus, to execute precautionary and preventive measures to fight the spread of infection, and to provide a service to the society during this crisis that requires the solidarity and cooperation of all to achieve the safety and protection of citizens and soldiers of the White Army and to provide them with the necessary medical supplies to protect them from infection, confirming their full support to the production unit and reaching the production line to the highest levels that cover the needs of university hospitals ,workers and citizens in the governorate. This is what the university has always sought as a safety fort  for society, wishing to pass through this crisis for safety and Egypt remains safe by the solidarity of its faithful sons.

The university president was accompanied in his tour by Dr. Ahmed  Elkased, the university vice-president for higher studies and research, Dr. Sherif Sabri, the faculty dean, Dr. Osama Madany, the dean of the faculty of arts and media adviser to the university president.
