The Faculty of Nursing, Menoufia University, in cooperation with the university's convoy administration, launched an awareness convoy for citizens about "obesity prevention and treatment", which comes with the holy month of Ramadan and the dangers of excessive sugar intake and lack of exercise.

As the convoy dealt with several important axes, including the diagnosis of obesity and its causes, how to deal with excess weight, lose weight with healthy food, maintain it, exercise regularly, and the role of religion in preventing obesity risks in the holy month of Ramadan.

The convoy is sponsored by Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and supervised by Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and Dr. Amal Shehata, Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
