Menoufia University President reassure laila's condition after she undergoes a liver transplant surgery

Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, followed up on the case of Laila, who suffers from liver failure, and who undergoes a liver transplant today at the National Liver Institute at Menoufia University.

Mubarak reassured after leaving the child's case after leaving the operating room, and the operation took 10 continuous hours by the institute's liver transplant team, which succeeded in making a very difficult operation due to the child's condition, as a result of a liver failure due to a tiger in the morbous channels, with congenital twists, colon, and lack of the lower vein behind The liver was donated by her mother, Mrs. Walaa Galal, by the left-hand side of the liver, and the child was placed in a separate liver transplant isolation room with intensive care and the case is being monitored.

Mubarak thanked the surgery team and the dean of the institute, Dr. Hisham Abdel-Dayem, for their effort today in performing this difficult surgery, and this is always his pledge to the National Liver Institute, the distinguished medical edifice in Egypt and the Arab countries, which is specialized in transplantation and treatment of liver diseases.

Today's surgical team was led by Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Qader, Head of the Department of Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic and Bile Duct Surgery and Director of the Liver Transplant Unit and assisted by a competent surgical team that included the following Doctors: Hani Abdel-Majeed, Usama Hegazy, Hazem Zakaria, Islam Ayoub, Mohamed Ballabel, Yahya Fayed, Mahmoud Makshat, Ahmed Salam Muhammad Sharshar, Sami Sameh, Dr. Nermin Al-Adawi, Head of the Department of Pediatric Hepatology, and the anesthesia team was led by Dr. Essam Abdel Fattah, Mays Najla Al-Bambi, Head of the Nursing Team in Operations.
