Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, visited El-Araby factories in the industrial zone of Quesna. He was received by Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Gayed El-Araby, head of the operations group, accompanied by University President Dr. Ayman Amira, Dean of Electronic Engineering, and Dr. Mahmoud El-Sheikh, Dean of Engineering.

This visit comes within the framework of the cooperation protocol concluded between the university and Elaraby Group since 2008 with the aim of cooperation in various fields. To implement and present ideas to students to provide appropriate solutions to implement these ideas on the ground, and the results resulted in the winning of six groups of students, amounting to 110 students, who succeeded in providing appropriate solutions to the ideas and problems presented to them.

Mubarak expressed his appreciation for the El-Araby group of companies and all its employees, and prayed for mercy to its founder, Haj Mahmoud El-Araby, who was able to establish a major industrial group since 1964 and contributed to the development of the Egyptian economy and became one of the leading companies in the field of electronics at the level of Africa and the Middle East, and discussed the work of further cooperation protocols, especially And that the university has faculties of electronic engineering, engineering, artificial intelligence, science and agriculture, which allows many areas of cooperation.

The university president addressed a speech to the honored students that everyone who participated in the competition is a winner because he had the opportunity to train in a major industrial group, stressing the importance of linking the academic aspect with industry and that the student take advantage of every opportunity available to him for training and development of his skills and abilities to win a distinguished job opportunity.

Mubarak was keen to participate in this occasion and to be present among the students to determine the extent to which they benefited from this important opportunity in the course of their academic journey, and the importance of exploiting all opportunities for training and keeping pace with the labor market.

Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Gayed El-Araby welcomed the President of the University and his accompanying delegation to the El-Araby Group of Companies and Factories, reviewing the history of the group’s inception since 1964 and its efforts to provide high-quality products with high technology, in order to meet the needs and expectations of the consumer, and what El-Araby Group has witnessed from the strategic stages since its establishment Today, thanks to God Almighty, it has become one of the most important industrial and commercial entities in Egypt and the Middle East. The three founding brothers were Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Arabi, Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Arabi and Abdel-Gaid Ibrahim Al-Arabi. The group also started partnerships with major Japanese companies, the most important of which is Toshiba Corporation in 1974, and it became the Arab commercial agent. The only Toshiba products in Egypt, and the second partnership was with the Japanese company Sharp in 2002.

Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Gayed El-Araby presented the idea of ​​the competition adopted by the group, the extent of the development of the initiative, the number of ideas submitted by the participants, and the stages of progress for the competition until the projects were implemented on the ground, and today the students are honored.

The Dean of Electronic Engineering expressed his pride in his sons, the distinguished students of the college, who have proven their high efficiency and ability to solve various industry problems and provide innovative and implementable ideas and solutions, and the extent of the college’s keenness to conclude many cooperation agreements with various major industrial companies to provide practical training for students and link their studies to the labor market.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sheikh, Dean of Engineering, stressed the importance of these training opportunities for students, and the president's support for these important activities to achieve benefit for students, and discussed signing protocols with the group to exchange cooperation in various fields.

The President of the College Student Union and some of the students participating in the competition spoke about their experience, which they benefited from best, and thanked them for winning this important opportunity that affected their lives and left an important imprint that helped them innovate and discover their abilities in a better way.

At the end of the meeting, the students were honored in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, the project supervisor, Dr. Hamdi Awad and Dr. Tarek Khader, professors at the college, and the two parties exchanged memorial shields.
