The Menoufia University female team succeeded in defeating its counterpart the American University team by penalty shootout during the strong match that was held in the indoor hall at the Menoufia University Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Martyr Al-Rifai championship in the football game for female students hosted by Menoufia University under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University and Dr. Nancy Asaad Vice President of the University and the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of Student Welfare.

Penalty kicks decided Menoufia University's promotion to the semi-finals, winning 2/3.

The Menoufia team participated in the meeting with a formation consisting of: Israa Khattab, Aya Shatla, Zouz El-Sayyad, Iman Bakr, Sarah Mohamed, Aya Hanish, Aya Mohamed, Fatima Darwish and Sarah Hamdi El-Serif, Led by the technical director, Dr. Ahmed Saher, Captain Wesal Al-Qatt, the national team official, and Thana Jumaa, the team's supervisor.Thus, Menoufia University will meet with the Alexandria University team in the semi-finals, and October University for Science will play with the Higher Education team to determine the two sides of the final match.

The matches are supervised by the Sports Activity Department led by Captain Yasser Jamal and the international referee, Captain Moataz Sadiq.
