Under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, Dr. Hisham Abdel-Dayem, Dean of the Liver Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Liver Institute at Menoufia University, signed today a contract to accept the donation of the Sherifat Hajji Hospital building in the village of Al-Qalshi of the Tala Center in Menoufia Governorate, a building donated by the family of Engineer Mohamed Abdel Aziz Heggy is a hospital under construction on an area of ​​​​1866 square meters for the benefit of the Association of Patients of the National Liver Institute at Menoufia University, in the presence of Dr. Amr Helmy, the former Minister of Health, Dr. Azza Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean of the Liver Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nermin Hassan, Vice Dean of the Institute for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Tawfiq Abdul Muttalib, Director of the Central Administration of the Liver Institute’s Patient, heads of the Liver Institute departments, members of Parliament, the President of the Tala City Council, and mayors and sheikhs of the villages of Tala Center

Dr. Hisham Abdel-Dayem welcomed the attendance of the conference and the guests of the ceremony, wishing that the faculty members at the National Liver Institute would be up to the responsibility and honesty they had to achieve the goal and purpose of the hospital, noting that these services would be voluntary and free for the sake of God Almighty and an extension of the services of Menoufia Medical University

Dr. Amr Helmy stressed that the National Liver Institute at Menoufia University has won the trust of the countries of the world from its distinguished cadres and scientific research since its inception at the hands of Dr. And it extended to include patients from all governorates

The attendees stressed that work in the hospital will be carried out as quickly as possible in preparation for its opening within a year through the donations that the association will receive.

Mamoun Hajji, the donor's business agent, explained that the building has obtained all the necessary licenses to inaugurate work in it as a hospital, as it has 4 rooms for performing surgeries, a blood bank, laboratories, radiology, and housing for doctors, in addition to clinics and internal rooms.

The building is located in the hometown of Dr. Yassin Abdel Ghaffar, founder of the National Liver Institute in Menoufia Governorate, where the building plays a prominent role in providing a distinguished medical service in the future for the people of Menoufia Governorate and the neighboring villages
