Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held a session of the Laboratories and Scientific Equipment Committee for the month of May 2022 “online” with the participation of members of the committee, the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Students, and the accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, the acting Secretary-General of the university and the deans of the faculties.

The accountant, Muhammad Saeed, the assistant secretary-general of the university, presented the agenda, whereby the remaining funds allocated to the university in the plan for the fiscal year 2021/2022 are being requested from the National Investment Bank, distributed over the in-kind components of the various university projects, and the approval of the Ministry of Finance to enhance local aid and donations distributed over the budget of each From: University Hospitals, National Liver Institute Hospital, Education at Menoufia University.

He added that the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development was addressed to approve the introduction of an advance payment clause to pay the dues of electricity, gas and drinking water companies for the following projects: Faculty of Computers and Information, Menoufia National University, construction of a wall around the land of the new medical city (land clause).

University hospitals, the National Liver Institute Hospital, the College of Applied Health Sciences and the College of Dentistry were addressed to meet the demands of the Egyptian Consolidated Procurement Authority after any new increases until the funds for the item of medical machines and equipment are funded starting from the 2022/2023 fiscal year.

The President of the University and the Secretary-General of the University discussed the university’s budget for the fiscal year 2022/2023 (education - hospitals), and the university’s comments on the plan were delivered to the House of Representatives.

The committee also includes in its membership the accountant Mohamed Saeed, the assistant secretary general of the university, the accountant Ali Omar Al-Noh, the director general of procurement, and the accountant, Sahar Al-Najjar, the director general of financial affairs.
