Sharaf inaugurates the productive workshops for a decent life in Menoufia Education

This morning, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Menoufia University, inaugurated the activities of launching a series of productive workshops within the “Decent Life” initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University and supervised by Dr. Fatiha Batikh, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University. And Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, and Dr. Heba Al-Ghatmy, Assistant Professor of Curricula and Teaching Methods for the English Language and Director of the Adult Education Center in the college, in the presence of Colonel Ahmed Salama and Colonel Mamdouh Fawzi, Director of the Office of a decent life in Menoufia Governorate

Sharaf started the workshops by emphasizing the importance of the decent life initiative, offering great greetings, appreciation and thanks to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his initiatives that concern the public interest and improve the life of the Egyptian citizen in the villages and governorates of Egypt, indicating that Menoufia University adopts any initiative that cares about society and promotes all its categories and will make all its efforts to serve women Improving the conditions of the Egyptian family economically, scientifically and culturally, and teaching them the manual skills that open the fields of production and work for them to achieve profit


As Sharaf stated, the university is ready to finance the trainees with training materials, contribute effectively to marketing on campus for university colleges, and organize e-marketing courses that allow them to start their small projects as a launch for them to produce. And it will start with the faculties of education and childhood education and home economics, considering them as skill and productivity faculties, and seeking help from them in training for university faculties, out of its belief in the importance of small projects in economic development and raising the economy of the beloved country, Egypt.


Colonel Ahmed Salama Ali stressed the necessity of diversifying production workshops to include all areas that meet the skills of community members and the requirements of the local and foreign markets, stressing that small projects are the nucleus of economic progress and the main contributor to advancing development.


For his part, Colonel Mamdouh Fawzy added about the importance of developing the skills of community members and urged students to participate in volunteering in the work of a decent life. He also referred in his speech to the Start initiative, which aims to encourage investment and small, medium and micro enterprises.


Dr. Ashraf Ezzat, President of the Zewail Lovers Association for Development and Creativity, and a team of creative trainers participated in the training and transfer of experiences to community members and college students.

On the sidelines of today's activities, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf held a meeting of the Higher Committee for Literacy and Adult Education at the Supreme Council of Universities to lay out the outlines for presenting the efforts of Menoufia University in the national project for literacy and adult education, in the presence of Dr. Fatiha Batikh, Dean of the College, Dr. Nahed Ghoneim, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy, Vice Dean of the College. for Community Service Affairs, and Dr. Heba Al-Ghatami, Director of the Adult Education Center
