Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, thanked and thanked God Almighty for all his blessings and favours, and then directed his sincere thanks and great appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for the confidence of his dear sovereignty by assigning him as President of Menoufia University. To His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, asking God Almighty to grant him success in performing the tasks entrusted to him for the advancement of Menoufia University and our dear country, Egypt.

Al-Qasid stressed that he will continue the march of Menoufia University and advance it as a beacon of education in the heart of the Delta, in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030 in all its axes, including the higher education system and scientific research.

Al-Qased explained that one of his primary concerns is the regularity of the educational process at the level of the undergraduate students stage, and the stage of postgraduate students, as well as following up the progress and regularity of the first semester exams in the various faculties of the university. He explained that the interest in scientific research also comes on the priorities of his agenda during the coming period in line with the state’s directions towards the new republic, which is based on building it on scientific research and keeping pace with the labor market in the sectors of agriculture and industry, and meeting the needs of the Central Delta region, since Menoufia University is part of it. His Excellency added that one of his most important priorities during the coming period is to develop and prepare modern interface programs that meet the demands of the labor market and to prepare a trained graduate from Menoufia University who will have an effective role and impact in the labor market.

As for the role of the university and its relationship with the surrounding community, Ali stressed that university hospitals are one of the most important windows of Menoufia University in serving its surrounding community, especially as the hospital sector represents a fundamental pillar in the advancement of the health sector in Egypt, so the trend will be towards developing the reception department in the emergency hospital and the services provided It is for patients who frequent university hospitals, and the actual start of establishing the Menoufia University Medical City.

Al-Qasid added that during the current academic year 2022/2023, studies have started at Menoufia National University with two academic programs, stressing that he is in the process of completing the matrix of programs to be studied at the beginning of the next academic year 2023/2024, and there will be special attention in this regard.

Al-Kased indicated that the University of Menoufia was honored to allocate to it the political leadership a plot of land of 200 acres in the desert hinterland in the Menoufia Governorate, in Sadat City, to establish the expansions of the University of Menoufia, and projects that serve the educational, research and health process at the university will start.
