This morning, the committee convened to nominate applicants for the position of Dean of the National Liver Institute at Menoufia University.Headed by Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and the committee includes in its membership Dr. Saqr Ahmed Saqr, former President of Menoufia University, Dr. Hisham Abul-Enein, Vice President of Benha University, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Wahhab, Professor at Mansoura University, Dr. Emam Abdel-Latif Waked, Emeritus Professor of the Department of Liver and Gastroenterology and former Dean of the Institute.
The following applied for the position of Dean of the National Liver Institute: Dr. Muhammad Akl, Head of the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, Dr. Osama Hegazy, Professor of Liver, Pancreatic and Biliary Surgery and Executive Director of the Liver Institute Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Shawqi, Head of the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Department at the National Liver Institute, Dr. Ashraf Abdul Raouf Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Diagnostics, Dr. Taha Eid Yassin Professor of Surgery at the Institute.
