Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, received members of the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee headed by Dr. Ayman Farid Abu Hadid and in the presence of Dr. Ayman Hafez, Dean of Agriculture. The committee includes in its membership Dr. Nazmy Abdel Hamid Abdel Ghani, Secretary of the Committee, and Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abu Wali, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kafr El-Sheikh University and Rapporteur of the New Programs Committee, Dr. Zahir Ahmed Mohamed, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Fayoum University and member of the committee from abroad, Dr. Magdy Mohamed Abdel Moneim Othman, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Suez Canal University, Dr. Al-Shawadfi Mansour, Rapporteur of the Bachelor’s Committee in the Sector Committee, Ahmed Anwar Othman, Director General of the Supreme Council of Universities, and Amal Fahmy Ahmed, Director of the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University.
El-Kased welcomed the members of the committee, praising the efforts of the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee and the importance of cooperation between all concerned parties to implement the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to implement national projects that the state is currently working on to achieve food security for citizens, and the importance of developing agricultural scientific research and adopting applicable research on the ground. And the expansion of accurate and smart agriculture and the development of teaching programs in colleges, stressing that the College of Agriculture at the university is an ancient college that includes a distinguished elite of faculty members and always seeks to develop its programs that keep pace with the needs of the labor market and contribute to the implementation of the sustainable development plan.
This meeting comes as part of the visit of the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee to the College of Agriculture to review the biotechnology and food processing safety programs, where the committee inspected the college and reviewed the controls and regulations, and some points were modified. And the regularity of its work. The committee was received by former deans of the college, vice deans, heads of departments and members of the faculty of the college.
