Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, two teams from the university participated in the Egypt Rally competition for entrepreneurship in El Alamein, which is organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, sponsored by the National Bank of Egypt, the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research, the Innovators Support Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education, and many sponsoring bodies and institutions.
The two teams won prizes worth 25,000 EGP, where the Eco Plastic team, represented by the student Ziyad Mohamed Fouad Zaid from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, won a prize of 10,000 EGP, and the NaturMagic team, represented by the student Salma Mohamed Al-Moaz and the student Ahmed Abdulaziz Abdel Basset, won a prize of 15,000 EGP.
The participation of the two teams came under the general supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, and executive supervision of Mervat Arafa, Director of the Scientific and Technological Activity Department, Dr. Fathallah Al-Shora, the supervisor of the university delegation, and Mustafa Ezz Al-Rijal, the activity officer and all the supervisors of the scientific and technological activity.
