Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, who is in charge of managing the work of Menoufia National University, and Dr. Nancy Asaad, Academic Supervisor of Menoufia National University, witnessed the activities of the first introductory day for the faculties and programs of Menoufia National University, as part of a series of introductory meetings organized by the university for new students. Today is the introductory meeting for the clinical pharmacy program at the College of Pharmacy.


The university president met with the new students enrolled in the clinical pharmacy program in the university theater hall and welcomed them to the first activities of the new academic year at Menoufia National University, which represents a distinguished educational edifice whose motto is a better vision for the future. In his speech, he extended congratulations on the occasion of the new academic year and welcomed the students of the first year of the college.


The university president stressed that the Egyptian state and political leadership provide all support in order to develop the educational process, and this is the main goal of establishing private universities, which have so far reached 16 universities in addition to 27 government universities, and a large number of private, international and technological universities and specialized higher institutes, especially since the optimal investment. It is investing in human resources, especially youth, because they represent an important element and resource of the state’s resources in the process of construction and development and advancing the economy and comprehensive sustainable development.


The President of the University reviewed the establishment of Menoufia National University and the percentage of completion that took place in record time and the start of studies in many distinguished colleges and programs that seek to achieve a competitive advantage in the local and international labor market, stressing the importance of working to invest in youth capabilities through qualification and continuous training, expanding the student’s awareness and developing his skills. Providing opportunities for creativity and cultivating positive and creative thinking in students.


Dr. Nancy Asaad presented the colleges and programs included in the university and what was opened this year, in addition to the programs in which studies began the previous year, which are: Medicine, Medicine and Surgery Program, Dentistry, Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Program, College of Engineering, Smart City Planning and Construction Programs, Materials Engineering and Manufacturing Management. , Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, High Performance Computing, College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Intelligence Programs, Data Science, Internet of Things and Big Data Analysis, College of Applied Health Sciences Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology Programs, Radiology Technology and Medical Imaging, College of Physical Therapy, and College of Pharmacy. Clinical Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, and Nursing Program The Nursing Sciences Program includes 3 tracks: Midwifery Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Neonatal Nursing, and Humanities and Social Sciences (Specialized Translation and English Language Program) at Menoufia National University for the next academic year 2023/2024.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Haitham Mimoun, Dean of Pharmacy at Menoufia University, Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf, Dean of Artificial Intelligence, program coordinators at Menoufia National University, and Dr. Amr Kamal, clinical pharmacy program coordinator and supervisor of organizing today’s introductory meeting.

Dr. Haitham Maimon and Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf gave welcoming speeches to the students, and Dr. Haitham Maimon taught the students the difference between a pharmacist and a clinical pharmacist, who is called a pharmacist and works within a medical team that deals with doctors and patients directly and is a consultant to the doctor to recommend the appropriate medication for the condition and is closest to nursing to provide any advice. Especially for medicine, while the regular pharmacist deals with patients by dispensing medicines in the private pharmacy or the pharmacy in the hospital. Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf stressed in his speech the importance of benefiting from their presence at Menoufia National University, which is considered one of the smart universities that aims to achieve digital transformation in all its forms and includes modern programs. Keeping pace with technological development worldwide.


For his part, Dr. Amr Kamal, Coordinator of the Clinical Pharmacy Program at Menoufia National University, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the University President for his constant support for the college and for answering the invitation to be among the students and meet with them, and meeting all the necessary needs for equipping the college’s laboratories, and thanks to the university’s academic supervisor for her fruitful cooperation with all the coordinators. He also addressed his students in their first academic year at the university about the importance of regularly attending lectures according to the announced academic schedule, and the importance of direct communication between the student and the faculty member, noting that questionnaires and opinion polls will be conducted for the students on a periodic basis to follow up on their activities and solve any obstacles they face.

During the meeting, a documentary film about Menoufia National University was shown, and after the meeting, the University President inspected the progress of medical examination procedures for new students.
