Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, participated in the opening of the activities of the conference “The Story of a Homeland... Between Vision and Achievement,” which was opened this morning by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in the New Administrative Capital and will continue for three days. The opening was attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and a number of Ministers, senior statesmen, and a large number of representatives of Egyptian society and its various sectors, including young people, media figures, politicians, clerics, experts and specialists in various fields, in order to present the achievements of the Egyptian state in all sectors.
The conference witnessed a speech by President Sisi in which he spoke about the story of Egypt since 2011 and the challenges that faced the state, which were enough to end countries. However, the growth and progress that the Egyptian state is currently witnessing came thanks to work, sacrifice, sincerity, and misery, not through words. A number of achievements that were made during this period were presented. Achievements continue despite all the challenges.
The university president explained that the first day of the conference witnesses important sessions focusing on economic axes, in which senior ministers participate, as Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, will lecture. These sessions address the government's policies and programs in supporting the Egyptian economy.
As for the second day, it will witness sessions focusing on the energy and infrastructure sectors, with the participation of Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and Engineer Tariq Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. During these sessions, large national projects and infrastructure development efforts are discussed.
The third and final day witnesses sessions focusing on the areas of foreign policy and national security, attended by Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice, and Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior. During these sessions, issues of national security and international relations are discussed.
With regard to the sessions dedicated to social justice and health, they will witness the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity. The activities will conclude with a closing session that brings together senior officials to review the results of the conference and future directions for development in Egypt.
