Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, opened the 40th Scouting and Guidance Festival in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, on the grounds of the Olympic Water Sports Complex, with the participation of 11 of the university’s colleges, namely Nursing, arts, engineering, artificial intelligence, health sciences, commerce, agriculture, education, physical education, specific education, and veterinary medicine.


The festival is held under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of Student Welfare, and Dr. Walid Hussein Talaat, Director of the University’s Mobile Department.


The activities were opened with the Holy Qur’an recited by student Muhammad Ali Al-Shibini, followed by a speech by the festival leader, a parade of participating colleges, and the handing over and raising of the festival flags.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, signaled the start of the festival and raised the flag of Egypt and the University on the camp grounds, with the participation of a number of students from the School of Islamic Education and the Thankful Masa’i School in Shebin Al-Koum.


The university president inspected the mobile lands and was keen to take souvenir photos with the university mobiles and tours to motivate and encourage them to continue their work and fair competition.


The intendant praised the Scout Festival and the student exhibits in the various colleges, explaining that the university’s cadets compete in 6 fields: the religious field, the field of values and trends, the field of scouting and guidance, the cultural field, the artistic field and exhibitions, and the field of public service, stressing the university’s keenness to qualify students scientifically, culturally, and athletically. , motivating them to practice various activities and supporting innovative students.


The festival's jury included leaders Tarek Arafa, Mohamed Farag, Hassan Abu Dhawi, Mustafa Abu Al-Saud, Ahmed Abdel Aziz, and Noha Al-Fatatri.
