Physical Education at Menoufia University wins first and second places in sports performances at the level of specialized colleges and Egyptian universities

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, Menoufia University participated in sports performances at the level of specialized colleges and Egyptian universities, which were launched on February 17 under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and its organization was supervised by the Central Administration for Sports Development, the General Administration of Student Activities in the Ministry, with the participation of 17 A college of physical education for boys and girls across the country, 14 Azhar institutes, in addition to 15 sports schools, and the number of participants reached 1,500 male and female students at all levels.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased announced that the College of Physical Education won first place for “boys” and second place for “girls” in the performances.


El-Kased pointed out that these meetings aim to bring out the creative energies of young people, enhance the values of loyalty and belonging, and express in an artistic and creative way Egypt’s successes and achievements throughout history, by drawing artistic paintings through sports performances. In addition to the rapprochement and acquaintance achieved by these youth gatherings among participants at the republic level.


The University President thanked the college and the male and female students participating in the meeting for their honorable performance and the great efforts they made during the competition activities, wishing them continued advancement and progress.


The students were supervised by Dr. Naeem Muhammad Fawzi, Dean of the College, Dr. Imad Al-Sersi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the Department of Exercise and Sports Performances at the College, Dr. Bahaa El-Din Abdel Fattah Rady, and Dr. Magda Shoala.


It is noteworthy that the participating teams competed in the covered Hassan Mustafa Hall on the 6th of October, and the judging committee was made up of professors from colleges of physical education at the republic level. The team that won first place, male students, received an amount of 15 thousand pounds, and the second place team, female students, received 10 thousand pounds.
