This evening, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, witnessed the conclusion of the activities of the City Ramadan Football Tournament, which was held at the City Club in Shebin El-Kom, with the participation of 33 teams from various centers in the governorate, in the presence of Professor Mohamed Moussa, Deputy Governor, Counselor Ibrahim Abu Zahra, President of the Court. Shebin Al-Koum College, Captain Abdel Sattar Sabry, the Egyptian football star, Captain Ayman Salah, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of City Club Company for the Management of Clubs and Sports Facilities, and a number of members of the Board of Directors.

The closing ceremony of the Ramadan session included holding the final match between the Bonaire team and the Mohamed Qashqoush team, in the presence of a large audience. The match ended with the Mohamed Qashqoush team winning first place at the level of the Ramadan session. The Governor of Menoufia and the University President honored the winning teams and handed them financial prizes.

The University President expressed his happiness at attending this celebration and sharing with the winning teams their joy at being crowned and honoured, stressing his keenness to participate in various community forums and to respond to the Governor’s invitation to attend such celebrations, praising the organization of the Ramadan session and the importance of practicing various sporting activities and encouraging young people to participate in sports and discover their talents. Especially since the political leadership supports sports and pays great attention to human building and youth empowerment, and also supports the development of youth centers and local clubs in the governorates, he extended congratulations to all the winning teams, stressing that participation in itself is a win because the players acquire skills and experience that qualify them to win in other tournaments.

The members of the Board of Directors of the City Club Company for the Management of Clubs and Sports Facilities presented a memorial shield to the university president in appreciation of his participation in the closing ceremony.
