Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting to discuss future visions and ambitious development plans for the university during the coming period in line with mechanisms for developing the educational process, digital transformation, methods of smart interactive education, and serving the surrounding community.

This came in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased expressed his pride in the cultural appearance and achievements achieved by the university in the past period, and stressed the university’s tireless pursuit of permanent development in facilities and the educational process and its aspiration to establish research units, new colleges, and a technological and international university, in a way that achieves the diversity of sources of higher education at the university and serves the outcomes of the national strategy. He also stressed the need to make optimal use of all university facilities to serve the educational and research process, serve patients and society, and receive university guests, in order to achieve the university’s future vision.

During the meeting, El-Kased reviewed the general vision of the university and the expansion of the establishment of educational and service facilities at the university’s various sites and the university’s land in Sadat City.

El-Kased added that the committee reviewed the executive position of the current constructions with directions to speed up their completion and finalize the procedures for their financial abstracts. The final design of the new Oncology Institute building was also reviewed during the committee, and the implementation of this project will begin within the next two months.

The President of Menoufia University stressed the need for concerted efforts to advance the university and develop a clear plan and vision on the part of the university’s senior management to speed up the completion of projects and optimally exploit the university’s resources, with the necessity of completing the preparation of the future plan for university facilities during the new fiscal year.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased also pointed out the necessity of exploiting the empty spaces in the theoretical complex to create green areas and service projects that meet the needs of students, in addition to preparing parking spaces, stressing that the university is ready for serious cooperation with experienced people, businessmen and industry, to achieve the public interest and serve the surrounding community.

During the committee, the proposed future plan for the university’s land in Sadat City, which amounts to 200 acres, was reviewed. The university president directed the formation of a higher committee to develop a strategy for construction there and the proposed educational programs and to have an effective role in serving the community, keeping pace with the trends of the new republic, and contributing to the advancement of the industrial zone. and existing crops in the region.
