Today, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the conduct of exams for the second semester at the Faculty of Specific Education for the academic year 2023/2024, accompanied by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased praised the regular conduct of exams, the provision of comfort for students, the taking of all procedures and measures required to provide an ideal climate for the completion of exams, the smooth conduct of exams in committees, the students’ commitment to the established rules, the presence of committee chairs, the regularity and presence of invigilators, and the presence of professors and department heads in exam halls to achieve discipline, and respond to questions. Student inquiries.
During his tour, the university president was also keen to survey the students’ opinions about the nature of the exams and the level of questions according to the measurements of the college’s measurement and evaluation unit and their conformity with the exam hours scheduled for the academic subject, the rules of automatic correction, and electronic control systems.
After touring the examination committees, the university president also presented a number of proposals to modernize and develop the distinguished program (preparing a computer teacher for people with special needs), which targets special groups of the deaf, mute, visually impaired, and teaching sign language, which the state called for in the 2030 sustainable development plans to develop all segments of society. At different educational stages. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased called for the invitation and participation of the local community in Ashmoun and Menoufia Governorate to cooperate with the college to provide trainees and train them in sign language through the computer teacher preparation program in accordance with the protocols concluded with the institutions concerned with special groups of people with needs and to spread the culture of educational awareness for teachers and trainees in the various intellectual schools. .
The inspection tour was attended by Dr. Ashraf Al-Issawi, Vice Dean of the College for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Hiam Mustafa, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs and Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, Dr. Milad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Jumaa, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Art Education and former Vice Dean of the College, and a number of college professors.
