El-Kased reviewed the achievements achieved by the university in the past period, and stressed the university’s tireless pursuit of permanent development in educational facilities, the establishment of more medical facilities, and the aspiration to establish research units, new colleges, and a technological and international university, in a way that achieves the diversity of sources of higher education at the university and serves the outcomes of the national strategy for higher education and research. For his part, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf reviewed the projects carried out by the university’s community service sector to develop the villages of Ashmoun and support small projects and industries there.
