“International Publishing Challenges and Opportunities” at a symposium at Menoufia University

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the International Relations Office and the International Publishing Office at Menoufia University organized a symposium entitled “International Publishing Challenges and Opportunities” and under the supervision of Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Educational Affairs, and Dr. Ghada Ali Hassan, Executive Coordinator of the Office of International Relations, in the presence of a large number of faculty members, researchers and graduate students.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased indicated that the university seeks, through its specialized centers in international relations and international publishing, to raise research capabilities and skills, raise awareness of modern skills, technologies, and software, and provide research services in the scientific fields and humanities to encourage international publishing in prestigious international journals.
El-Kased stressed that Menoufia University supports scientific research and researchers and calls on researchers from faculty members and supporting staff to publish more scientific research in international magazines and periodicals, in addition to encouraging researchers at the university to conduct joint collective research in various specializations to reach the best scientific results that serve scientific research and society. .
Dr. Hazem Saleh also stressed the importance of international publishing in creating better opportunities for researchers in terms of scholarships and other things, noting the university’s interest in increasing the rate of international publishing because of its benefit to the university’s ranking. He also called on the symposium participants to publish the symposium’s objectives and convey them to researchers who were not fortunate enough to attend. .
During the symposium, Dr. Marwa Mohamed Nabil, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science and Coordinator of the International Publishing Office at the University, discussed the introduction of the International Publishing Office and the services it provides to researchers from Menoufia University employees in all stages of international publishing, from selecting the journal, submitting the research for publication, linguistic review, etc., in addition to explaining the steps of international publishing and the most important matters. Points that researchers must follow in international publishing and practical training in choosing a journal, avoiding research rejection, and obtaining funding to publish research.
Dr. Ola Nabil Al-Qassas, a teacher at the College of Arts, also gave a lecture on the challenges facing researchers in the literary and humanities disciplines, including linguistic, societal, material, and other obstacles.
The organization of the symposium was supervised by Dr. Ghada Ali Hassan, Executive Director of the University’s International Relations Office, Dr. Marwa Mohamed Nabil Atallah, Coordinator of the University’s International Publishing Office, Dr. Salah Diab, Deputy Coordinator of the International Publishing Office, and Dr. Mohamed Lotfy, Coordinator of the University’s Expatriates Office.
