President of Menoufia University confirms the start of colleges

President of Menoufia University confirms the start of colleges' preparations for the new academic year and reviews the university's activities in his monthly meeting with the deans

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held the monthly Deans Council meeting "online" to follow up on the university's various activities and events and prepare to receive the new academic year at the end of next month, in addition to preparing and studying the topics that need to be studied before presenting them to the next university council, in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased congratulated at the beginning of the meeting the deans and vice deans of the colleges who were issued a decision by the university president to renew their assignment to carry out the duties of the deanship and vice deanship of the college and who were issued a decision by the university president to assign them to carry out the duties of the deanship and vice deanship of the colleges.

He also congratulated Dr. Ekramy Gamal El-Sayed on his assignment to carry out the duties of the Secretary-General of Menoufia University.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased confirmed that these decisions came within the framework of preparing for the new academic year to ensure the smooth running and regularity of work in the colleges and to complete the university's plan to develop the work system in some colleges and give an opportunity to new cadres to serve the educational process and contribute to the development of the college, each in his specialization, wishing everyone success in performing their work duties.
The university president also thanked all deans, vice deans and department heads who performed their duties and made many contributions to the development of the college.
He pointed out the need for colleges to prepare to receive the new academic year and complete the necessary maintenance work in colleges and university cities before the start of studies.
During the meeting, the envoy reviewed the most important activities and events at the university in the recent period, including participation in the opening activities of the eighth edition of Akhbar Al-Youm Educational Exhibition, which is held under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and organized by Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation with the participation of 75 universities and institutes, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Engineer Abdel Sadek El-Shorbagy - Chairman of the National Press Authority, journalist Islam Afifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, journalist Refaat Fayyad, Editor-in-Chief of Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper and General Supervisor of the Exhibition Organization, and a large number of heads of public, private, civil and technological universities and leaders of the Ministry of Higher Education. He pointed out that members of the AMIDEAST team were received. He also congratulated the Enactus team at the university on winning first place in the Sustainable Development Competition presented by the German Federation for International Cooperation in cooperation with “Enactus Egypt GIZ” and launched by the Fund for the Care of Innovators and Geniuses in cooperation with the “Enactus International” organization with the aim of supporting student initiatives aimed at solving societal challenges. The team won a project aimed at preserving fruits from waste in export stations through smart labels technology. The team also won first place in the Juhayna Sustainability Competition with the idea of ​​a project to convert banana waste into sustainable products to benefit from them in the best ways to enhance sustainable development goals and spread awareness in society.
