Today, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, met with Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, in his office at the University's General Administration, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation in various fields during the coming period.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased indicated that the meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in the field of providing health care to citizens, scientific research, and serving local industries in the governorate, and how to maximize the benefit from research projects and improve the level of services provided to the people of the governorate.

El-Kased pointed out that the university seeks to achieve continuous development to serve the educational process and serve the community, in addition to developing educational facilities and establishing more medical facilities and looking forward to establishing research units, new colleges, and a technological and international university, in a way that achieves diversity of higher education sources at the university and serves the outputs of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030, which is reflected in providing educational and medical services worthy of the people of the ancient Menoufia Governorate, which has produced leaders and scientists in all fields, praising the achievements made on the land of the governorate.
For his part, the Governor of Menoufia stressed his appreciation and pride in the pioneering and effective role of Menoufia University as one of the distinguished educational institutions in the Delta, pointing out the need for cooperation between various state institutions to bring about a qualitative shift in the level of services and achieve community development to uphold the slogan of serving the citizen and raising the nation. The Governor of Menoufia pointed out that he is following the comprehensive development taking place at the university and its hospitals, and its remarkable progress in international classifications, in addition to the importance of the role of the university and its specialized colleges with its high-level scientific and human capabilities, stressing his full support for Menoufia University and providing the necessary facilities based on its educational role, societal mission and pioneering role as an effective partner in the development plans of the governorate, offering congratulations on the university's progress in the qualitative classifications in the general Chinese Shanghai classification and the victory of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menoufia in first and third place globally in the Robocon IDC24 competition in India.
