Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired today a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Research Account Unit online via electronic platforms with the participation of committee members.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased congratulated the committee members, university staff and the Islamic nation on the approaching anniversary of the birth of the Prophet.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased also extended his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Hazem Saleh, former Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, for his efforts during his tenure as President of the University.
The President of the University stressed the need to follow up on the implementation of research plans in the university's faculties to meet the various challenges facing Egyptian society in the economic, social, health and environmental fields, and to activate the role of scientific research in confronting the problems of industry and society and the state's development plans.
During the meeting, El-Kased also directed the faculties to increase the number of applied projects that have an actual applied return to serve the research process and students at the university.
The envoy pointed out that the committee agreed to refund the tuition fees paid by some members of the auxiliary body registered to obtain academic degrees and registered for master's and doctoral degrees outside the university. The committee also approved the minutes of the previous session and discussed any new work.
