El-Kased, during his monthly meeting with the deans of faculties "online", congratulates the sons of Menoufia University on the occasion of the Prime Minister's decision to establish the Oncology Institute and add it to the university's faculties and institutes, and follows up on preparations for the new academic year

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held his monthly meeting with the deans of faculties "online" in the presence of the university's vice presidents, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf for community service and environmental development, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari for education and students, and Dr. Ikrami Gamal, Secretary-General of the university, to discuss the topics that need to be studied before presenting them to the next university council and to follow up on the faculties' preparations for the new academic year.
The university president began the meeting by congratulating all university members and the people of the governorate and neighboring governorates on the occasion of the issuance of Cabinet Resolution No. 2862 of 2024 approving the establishment of the Oncology Institute at Menoufia University for research and therapeutic purposes, with a hospital attached to it for the treatment of tumors, and adding the institute to the university's colleges and institutes, stressing that this important step comes in line with the state's orientation towards expanding the establishment of specialized medical centers and developing university hospitals. On this occasion, Menoufia University extends its sincere thanks to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, and to all those who contributed to achieving this achievement. The university president also congratulated Dr. Ayman Hafez Issa, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, on the occasion of his appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Heliopolis University, and Dr. Ahmed Attia, Assistant Professor of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, on the occasion of the issuance of the decision to appoint him to the position of Executive Director of the National Liver Institute Hospital, wishing them success and good luck in performing their work duties, each in his position. The university president expressed his happiness on the occasion of the victory of the team of students of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, winning first place in the axis of using artificial intelligence at the Scientific Innovations Exhibition 2024 held at Benha University under the title "Artificial Intelligence Applications to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals" with a project entitled "Eye Mouse", and the victory of the team of students of Menoufia University in the first sports festival for people with disabilities for Delta Universities held at Benha University, and harvesting 14 medals in the competitions of athletics, weightlifting and kinetic football. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased announced the participation of Menoufia University in the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Building the Human Being" with integrated convoys to the village of Kafr Sarsamous in the Martyrs Center, based on the keenness of Menoufia University to participate effectively in the presidential initiatives adopted and supported by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. El-Kased congratulated the deans on the occasion of the approaching start of the academic year 2024 - 2025, and emphasized the readiness and preparedness of all university faculties to receive students and start studying and take the necessary measures to ensure the regularity of the educational process.
