Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced the victory of 4 teams from the university in the regional qualifiers for the Startup Competition

Supported by the Innovators and Supplements Care Fund (ISF), with the participation of the United Media Services Company, and their qualification for the training camp qualifying for the Gen-Z 2024 program, which is held at Al-Jalala University from September 14 to 18, after the end of the regional qualifiers for the Startup Olympics 2024 in the Delta region, which qualifies for the Gen-Z 2024 camp, which was held at Kafr El-Sheikh University, and 40 teams from 12 universities competed in these qualifiers.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased expressed his happiness with the performance of the university teams that qualified for the final rounds of the Genz Corporate Olympiad, stressing the university's constant keenness to provide all forms of support and care for its innovative and creative students, to develop their capabilities and skills and support their creativity, appreciating the efforts made by the Innovation Unit and the Center for Talented Students and Entrepreneurship at the university in encouraging students to participate in the competition and develop their ideas and creativity. Al-Qassed pointed out the university's keenness to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for brilliant students that helps them to work on successful applied projects that contribute to serving the community through a careful study of human and economic resources and industrial bases, and achieving maximum benefit to serve the purposes of sustainable development. The university president praised the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Innovators and Geniuses Care Fund to enhance students' capabilities in entrepreneurship and establishing start-up companies, noting that the qualified teams will join a qualifying camp at Al-Jalala University to provide all aspects of support for their projects. Dr. Ghada Ali, Executive Coordinator of International Relations and Executive Coordinator of the Innovators Care Fund at the University, added that Menoufia University was the most fortunate in terms of the number of qualified teams and advanced and innovative ideas that were appreciated by the judging teams. The qualified teams included: - Revive Team, a team of five students from the Faculty of Computers and Information: Ziad Shalaby Abdel Wahab Shalaby, Saeed Mohamed Sharaf El-Din, Salma Hamdy Mohamed Siraj, Rowida Ihab Abdel Aziz El-Saidi, Ali Hamed Ali Taha, under the supervision of Dr. Iman Mosleh Mohamed El-Sadoudi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Computers and Information. - Faculty of Engineering BioFab Team, which includes students Ahmed Ashmawy El-Sayed Ashmawy, Mohamed Mahmoud Mustafa Neber, under the supervision of Eng. Farah Tamer Abdel Hadi Nasser. 3- Naturmagic Team, which includes students from the Faculty of Science and Engineering: Salma Mohamed Mohamed El-Moaz, Ahmed Abdel Aziz Abdel Basset, Fatima Hisham Amer. 4- Planter Team, which includes five students from the Faculty of Computers and Information: Amr Raafat El-Sayed Mohamed Fathallah

It is worth noting that the advantages of participating in the Startup Olympiad competition include escalation to the final camp at the republic level to participate in the GenZ TV program, obtaining training and guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and investors, financing the winning companies with 500 thousand pounds, in addition to the possibility of accessing a network of investors and business owners, and highlighting the teams' efforts in the media.
