Today, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the progress of the educational process at the Faculty of Agriculture and met with the students of the faculty, congratulating them on the new academic year. He was accompanied by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ahmed El-Kholi, Dean of the Faculty, Vice Deans of the Faculty, and heads of departments.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased reassured the presence of faculty members and students' commitment to attending lectures and being present in training halls on the first days of the new academic year, stressing the university's keenness to provide all means of support and care for students and provide a stimulating and supportive educational environment for excellence and creativity.

"El-Kased" also welcomed the new students and students of the different groups, congratulating them on the new academic year, wishing them success and excellence, stressing the importance of the Faculty of Agriculture to society and its pioneering role in advancing the national economy and providing safe food for citizens.
The university president also urged students to participate and benefit from the various student activities provided by the university in order to develop their skills and abilities, which contributes to building their personality. During his tour of the college, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qassed planted fig and pomegranate trees that bear fruit quickly in the college garden as part of the presidential initiative "Planting 100 Million Trees", stressing the university's keenness to participate in the presidential initiative launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi; to increase the green area and spread health awareness for a clean environment, in addition to doubling the per capita share of green spaces across the republic, improving air quality, achieving maximum economic benefit from trees, and improving the public health of citizens. The university president added that this initiative comes within the framework of achieving the goals of sustainable development, including "climate action" to confront the dangers associated with climate change.
