Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that the university ranked 16th among Egyptian universities in the Adscientificindex classification for scientific production of university scientists and 1277 scientists from Menoufia University appeared in the classification, as the classification showed the presence of 12 scientists among the top 10% and 101 among the top 30% and 308 among the top 50% and 683 among the top 70% worldwide.

The President of the University congratulated the faculty members and young researchers at the university and colleges on this new achievement, indicating that the university's progress in the global classifications comes within the framework of the university's strategy to improve its research outputs and support young scientific and research researchers in accordance with the state's directives and the implementation of Egypt's Vision 2030.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased explained that the AD Scientific Index classification is a valuable tool for classifying universities and research institutions around the world. This index is based on analyzing the published scientific data of researchers associated with each institution, as it measures scientific productivity, research impact, and scientific citations. He pointed out that through this classification, universities can evaluate their research performance compared to other international universities, and identify their strengths and weaknesses, which contributes to developing their strategic plans to enhance scientific research and innovation.
