Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and the supervision of Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Menoufia University organized the Ideal Student Competition in which 65 male and female students from all faculties of the university participated. It included three stages, including a written test on the computer for the participants, presenting the student's CV, activities, and community and sports contributions, and speaking on one of the social or economic topics of interest to young people in Arabic in addition to one of the foreign languages that the student is fluent in.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the importance of student activities and the university's keenness on students' participation in all student activities, believing in their great impact on the personality of young people and their future, and the future of the country that has placed young people at the top of its list of priorities according to Egypt's Vision 2030.
Dr. El-Kased also stressed the importance of the Ideal Student Competition at the university, which encourages integration between academic excellence among students on the one hand, and on the other hand highlights the importance of developing culture, personal skills and creativity in various activities, pointing out the keenness of the university administration to enhance these skills among all its students, believing in the role of the university in shaping the personalities of students to be integrated generations that benefit themselves and their society.
Dr. Nasser Abdel Bary announced that the results of the Ideal Student Competition resulted in the victory of student Mohamed Mohamed Farouk from the Faculty of Medicine in first place, student Abdel Rahman Al-Sayed Mohamed from the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in second place, and student Moamen Ashmawy Khader from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in third place. The result of the Ideal Student also resulted in the victory of student Nouran Al-Sayed Niazi from Dentistry in first place, student Nada Samir Gabriel from the Faculty of Medicine in second place, and student Sondos Mohamed Al-Sayed from the Faculty of Dentistry in third place.
The jury included Dr. Hatem Abdel Qader, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Dr. Islam Fayd Allah, Head of the Animal Production Department at the Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr. Iman El-Dessouki, Professor of English at the Department of Fundamentals of Education at the Faculty of Education. The competition was organized under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Care, Mohamed El-Barmawy, Director General of Computers and Information, and Mohamed Khattab, Director of the Social Activities Department.
