The Times THE Arab Universities Ranking for 2024 announced the inclusion of Menoufia University among the best Arab universities. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, indicated that the university came in 131st place out of a total of 315 Arab universities. At the level of Egypt, Menoufia University was ranked 26th out of a total of 47 Egyptian universities only that appeared in the ranking, which is considered one of the most prominent international rankings that show the quality of education and scientific research in academic institutions around the world.

The university president stressed that the inclusion of Menoufia University in this classification is the result of continuous work to place the university in its scientific position befitting its long history, as the university always seeks to develop the mechanisms of education and scientific research. It has achieved remarkable progress in publishing scientific research in international journals, in addition to providing academic programs that are in line with the needs of the local and international market. The university also focuses on developing the technological and research infrastructure, which enhances its ability to compete in all international and Arab classifications. The inclusion of Menoufia University in the Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings reflects its commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality in education and scientific research. It is also a milestone in its academic career and an important achievement that reflects the university's efforts to achieve this progress, opening up and opening up broad horizons for the university to excel and innovate in the future. Menoufia University also seeks to overcome all challenges in order to achieve progress on the global rankings map. The university must continue to develop its academic programs to keep pace with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and rapid technological developments, in line with the higher education strategy and Egypt's vision under its political leadership and the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to advance the ranking of universities and research institutions in international rankings in various disciplines.

It is worth noting that the Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings, which included 315 universities this year, evaluated the performance of universities based on 5 main criteria, including the quality of teaching and learning, the availability of a distinguished educational environment, the productivity and quality of scientific research, research impact in terms of the number of citations, the impact of research globally, and the international dimension of the university in terms of international cooperation, attracting students and researchers, in addition to the extent of the university's influence in industry through partnerships with productive sectors, and the application of scientific research.

Dr. Hatem Mohamed, Dean of Computers and Information and Supervisor of the University’s Information Center, added that the ranking showed the university’s progress in the following fields: Computer Science came in 26th place, Physics 22nd, Electrical and Electronic Engineering 25th, Law 19th, and Health 21st.
