President of Menoufia University reviews the university's efforts to advance the education affairs sector during his speech at the 48th University Day celebration

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, reviewed the university's efforts to advance the education and student affairs sector during his speech at the 48th University Day celebration, noting that Menoufia University seeks to keep pace with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education by implementing digital transformation mechanisms, as the university has developed the digital infrastructure, localized administrative information systems applications, improved the electronic portal, and electronic payment mechanisms to facilitate services for students, in addition to updating electronic platforms for students.

El-Kased added that the number of distinguished academic programs in the university's faculties has reached 44 distinguished programs according to the credit hour system, and the university's academic guidance guide has been issued, which helps students choose appropriate academic paths.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased said that within the framework of digital transformation, the e-book has been developed and electronic tests have been expanded, with question banks improved and measurement and evaluation centers developed to meet the needs of the modern educational process.

The university president pointed out that in response to the "Study in Egypt" initiative, launched by the President of the Republic to enhance Egypt's role as a regional and international educational center, the university sought to develop the expatriate office and increase the number of international students. An internal platform was created to record the data of expatriate students, and these efforts resulted in a significant increase in the number of expatriate students.

El-Kased pointed out that the university sought to improve the services provided to students in university cities by developing them, paying attention to maintaining buildings and the infrastructure of facilities, and improving the quality of meals provided to them to suit the mental and physical effort of students.

El-Kased pointed out that the university pays great attention to student activities by supporting student participation in internal and external competitions, and participating in presidential initiatives such as "A New Beginning for Human Building" and "100 Days of Sports", in addition to supporting the Social Solidarity Fund for needy students.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased said that the university is keen to provide all means of support and care for our children with disabilities, as many events and activities have been launched to support them, including preparing buildings to facilitate movement, and providing appropriate facilities and technological means that help facilitate the learning process. E-learning programmes have also been designed to facilitate the academic achievement of students with disabilities, ensuring a suitable and advanced educational environment for them.
