Menoufia University students succeed in liberating "6042" male and female citizens from illiteracy in the October 2024 session

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, Menoufia University students succeeded in liberating "6042" male and female citizens from illiteracy in the October 2024 session through the classes they contracted with the departments of the General Authority for Adult Education.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that the total number of citizens who have been liberated from illiteracy by Menoufia University students since 2014 until now has reached "96,153" citizens, both male and female, in various villages and centers of Menoufia Governorate and outside the governorate, in cooperation with the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, Menoufia Branch. Al-Qassed also praised the efforts of the university students and their participation in the presidential initiative "Egypt without Illiteracy" within the activities of the Decent Life Initiative, stressing the keenness of Menoufia University to support the efforts of the Egyptian state in all fields under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his constant endeavor to improve the level of all services provided to the most needy villages, stressing that illiteracy is a national issue that must be confronted and eliminated, within the framework of the university's social and national responsibility towards the homeland. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, thanked the Adult Education Center at the Faculty of Education and the students and colleges participating in the initiative and the national project for literacy and adult education. For his part, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, explained that the university is keen on students’ active participation in the Villages Without Illiteracy initiative, in addition to students’ participation in the integrated convoys organized by the university for the governorate’s villages and outside them, and participation in the presidential initiative for human development “A New Beginning for Building the Human Being,” directing thanks to the students and the Adult Education Center.
