Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received the Permanent Scientific Committee for Computers, Information and Artificial Intelligence for the promotions of professors and assistant professors, in light of his continuous and permanent support for scientific research, in the presence of Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hatem Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Dr. Osama Abdel-Raouf, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed the committee members to Menoufia University, noting that the Faculties of Computers and Artificial Intelligence aim to achieve Egypt's Vision 2030, and keep pace with the global reliance on technology and artificial intelligence in all fields, especially in light of the tremendous development in the field of digital transformation technologies, information technology, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems that have become the language of the age, stressing that the Faculties of Computers, Information and Artificial Intelligence have become attractive to students in public, national and private universities.

El-Kased stressed the importance of computers, information and artificial intelligence in effectively contributing to serving the community and providing graduates with the opportunity to learn computer technologies and information systems to serve development issues to enter the information age, as well as contribute to qualifying the human resources needed for the local and international labor market while developing their ability to compete in this field.

The committee included Dr. Khaled Hosni, Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Zagazig University, Chairman of the Committee, in the presence of Dr. Yahya Helmy, Rapporteur of the Committee and Professor at the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Helwan University, and members of the committee, Dr. Fatima Amara, Professors at the Faculty of Computers, Cairo University, Dr. Samir Al-Mogi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers, Mansoura University, Dr. Laila Al-Fangari, Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Helwan University, Dr. Abeer Qarni, Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Cairo University, Dr. Tarek Mustafa, Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Sadat University, and Dr. Mohamed Amin, Professor of Computer Science, Menoufia University.
