Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Counselor Ibrahim Abu Zahra, Head of Shebin El-Kom Primary Court, honored the members of the committee assigned by the university to supervise the implementation of the project to preserve, digitize and archive the cases of the Menoufia Governorate's courts, in appreciation of their efforts and prominent role in the success of the project and achieving its goals, in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Affairs, Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, and Counselor Amir George Al-Mutaie, Vice President of Shebin El-Kom Primary Court.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed Counselor Ibrahim Abu Zahra, Head of Shebin Court, stressing the university's constant readiness to provide the necessary support to the Ministry of Justice and Menoufia Courts.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased explained that the implementation of this project comes within the framework of the university's role in serving the nation and the surrounding community, and consolidating ways of continuous cooperation with the court and judicial bodies, appreciating the important role of the judiciary that is responsible for implementing the law and is responsible for implementing justice and the course and traditions of the judiciary in the state, stressing that the Egyptian state is witnessing an unprecedented boom at all levels under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his great interest and full support for all executive, judicial and legislative bodies to achieve comprehensive development at all levels.
The university president thanked the members of the formed committee and the students participating in preserving and digitizing cases in the governorate, stressing the university's keenness to provide its distinguished services and expertise in all fields to support the efforts of the state and institutions to advance society.
For his part, Counselor Ibrahim Abu Zahra thanked Dr. Ahmed El-Kased for his support in providing the necessary support for the success of the project, which was launched in August 2024 and is still ongoing with remarkable rates of achievement in terms of quantity and quality, highlighting the efforts made to achieve a qualitative leap in the field of electronic archiving, and enhancing the preservation and documentation of cases in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of judicial work and improving the services provided.
The honorees were awarded certificates of honor by the university and certificates from the Ministry of Justice, confirming the fruitful partnership between the two parties to enhance digital transformation in judicial institutions.
The honor included Counselor Hossam Areed, Vice President of the State Lawsuits Authority, Legal Advisor to Menoufia University and Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Amani Gamal Mujahid, Dr. Tamer Hanfy Daoud, Executive Director of the project, and Dr. Noha Muhammad Othman, faculty members of the Department of Libraries and Information at the Faculty of Arts.
