"El-Kased" and the University Council inspect the university land in Sadat City
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, made a field visit to the university land in Sadat City, which is 200 acres in area, allocated to the university to be an extension of Menoufia University and to establish a number of ambitious university projects to achieve sustainable development goals.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that the university has prepared a vision for exploiting this land that meets the growing needs of the population and the Ministry of Higher Education in the region and provides an advanced educational and research environment.
"El-Kased" added that the proposed projects include the establishment of a technological college, an international university and an extension of the private university, a research and development area in addition to new colleges, student housing and an Olympic city, indicating that this project will contribute to supporting industrial development in the region by providing qualified cadres, improving services provided to the region's residents, and enhancing scientific research to serve the community and solve industrial problems.
This was attended by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Hazem Saleh, former Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies, Dr. Ikrami Gamal, Secretary General of the University, Deans of Faculties of Menoufia University, and Dr. Maha El-Touni, Coordinator of the Research Innovation Office at the University. The President of the University stressed the University's keenness to make the best use of this land to achieve the state's goals according to Egypt's Vision 2030, which aims to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, provide distinguished educational opportunities for Egyptian youth, and enhance Egypt's position on the global educational map, in addition to distributing higher education opportunities across the country, reducing pressure on universities in major cities, as well as attracting investments and urban development to new cities by establishing universities, which contributes to creating new job opportunities, improving infrastructure, and meeting the needs of the labor market by providing qualified human cadres that meet the increasing needs of the labor market in various fields, especially in new cities that are witnessing rapid growth. The envoy pointed out that through these projects and new universities of Menoufia University in Sadat City, modern and advanced educational programs will be provided that keep pace with technological and scientific developments, meet the needs of the future labor market, encourage scientific research and develop innovation by establishing specialized research centers, while providing an attractive educational environment for students, equipped with the latest technologies and offering a wide range of scientific and human specializations to meet the needs of students and the requirements of the labor market. The university president called on the deans of the faculties to accurately define the goals and provide distinguished educational programs that match the local and international labor market. He also directed the immediate implementation of the necessary measures to start immediately building a fence for the university land in Sadat City.
