Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Hatem Mohamed, General Supervisor of Information Systems and Digital Transformation, the first periodic central meeting for university news editors and social media page administrators was held, headed by Dr. Amr Mausad, supervisor of the news portal.

The meeting addressed several axes, the most important of which was emphasizing the importance of the media role of editors and that the university's news portal is the university's window to provide its services to the internal and external public. He also praised the important role of social media page administrators as a media entity for the university.

The attendees participated in presenting questions and inquiries, and Dr. Amr Mausad kindly answered them while seeking to solve the problems they faced.

He also stressed the need to hold the meeting periodically to ensure that the workflow is followed up as required, and noted the need to hold a series of training courses for editors, including marketing courses, electronic marketing and chatGPT, to develop the capabilities of editors.
He also thanked the attendees, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Mamtaz, Director of the Translation Department, and the team working at the university’s news portal.
