Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the maintenance, development and new construction work at the medical complex in preparation for its opening and entry into service
The President of the University also inspected the progress of work at the university hospitals and emergency reception, accompanied by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University. They were received by Prof. Mohamed El-Noamani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Rania Azmy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Fotouh, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Executive Director, Dr. Ahmed Sabry, Deputy Executive Director, Dr. Farid Wagdy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Community Service Affairs, Eng. Rabab El-Daly, Director General of Engineering Affairs, and Eng. Sohaila Ibrahim, Director General of Maintenance.
El-Kased inspected the construction site of the expansions of the Oncology Institute, in addition to inspecting the site of the Specialized Surgery Hospital project on the land of the Medical City, which will be established on an area of 10 acres after taking the necessary measures to purchase 5 new acres as part of the university's plan to improve the medical services provided to patients.
El-Kased also inspected the final preparations for the new outpatient clinic building at the Faculty of Medicine in preparation for its opening and entry into service, consisting of 5 floors and including 58 clinics that will be equipped with the latest devices according to medical standards and quality standards in order to provide all medical specialties to patients, as the building also includes a laboratory for analysis, CT scans, regular scans, endoscopy and audiology units, in addition to contributing to the implementation of the presidential initiatives related to the health sector, which are launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to improve health and treatment care for citizens.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased also inspected the Faculty of Dentistry and its outpatient clinics on the ground floor, where the installation and operation of 35 clinics equipped with dental chairs have been completed, and he followed up on the completion of the finishing works of the general site and the painting of the facades and entrances.
The envoy followed up on the development work of the main entrance to the Faculty of Medicine, and also inspected the maintenance and development work at the entrance to the Emergency Hospital. The President of the University was keen to follow up on the progress of work at the Emergency Hospital and receiving emergency cases today, and inspected the laboratories, diagnostic devices, X-ray devices, and new living and observation rooms.
