Under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the university hosted today the Decent Life Foundation initiative in Menoufia "Review My School", which was launched by Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, to help the families of the most needy students in Menoufia Governorate, in cooperation with the Suez Canal Bank, which contributed to providing 1,500 school bags, and the Education Directorate in the governorate, in the presence of Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Ikrami Gamal, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Nour Al-Zaini, Head of the Institutional Communication and Social Responsibility Sector at the Suez Canal Bank, Dr. Amal Ghoneim, Coordinator of the Decent Life Foundation in Menoufia, Dr. Mohamed Al-Bahri, Vice President of the Executive Sector of the Decent Life Foundation, and Dr. Mohamed Salah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Menoufia.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, expressed his happiness at hosting an important event at the University, which is the "Review My School" initiative of the Decent Life Foundation, in the presence of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia. It is one of the most important initiatives that care for and sponsor the most needy families in the villages and cities of Menoufia Governorate and help parents facilitate their children's enrollment in education and reduce the financial burden of these families. The President of the University also stressed that Menoufia University interacts with all presidential initiatives that care about building the Egyptian person and working continuously with various institutions in society to provide the best level of health care and awareness for citizens in Menoufia Governorate, explaining the university's societal role in organizing many convoys throughout the year to guide and train students in many fields to qualify them to build society and achieve all the requirements of sustainable development in Egypt's Vision 2030.
Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, stressed during his speech the governorate's permanent support for the most needy families and providing all the requirements that citizens aspire to in all areas of the governorate.
He pointed out that Menoufia Governorate contributes to achieving the goals of the presidential initiatives that support women and children and preserve the environment, especially what is being provided today by the Decent Life Foundation in launching the "Review My School" initiative, which has contributed to providing more than 1,500 school bags and school supplies for students in cooperation with the Suez Canal Bank, to which we extend our full thanks and appreciation for this contribution. The Governor of Menoufia also called on the authorities concerned with caring for school students to work more to provide all the needs that help students study and create a generation qualified to serve the country. Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, added that Menoufia University is interested in serving the community and helping various parties to enrich the community of Menoufia Governorate in all fields through what the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university provides, which is caring for students at all educational levels, caring for talented students, and providing many educational and educational convoys in schools for educators and guiding them towards a suitable and advanced study environment through the expertise provided by the university in all specializations and working side by side with the Decent Life Foundation in many activities that care for families in Menoufia Governorate, most notably student care. Dr. Nour El-Zeini, Head of the Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility Sector at the Suez Canal Bank, also indicated that the bank made this contribution to the "Review My School" initiative launched by Decent Life based on the bank's endeavor to help the most needy families in Menoufia Governorate, especially in the educational field, and caring for the Egyptian family in alleviating the financial burden during the school year. She added that the Suez Canal Bank will provide more influential activities in supporting women, health and community sponsorship in Menoufia Governorate, and that the "Review My School" initiative is the first of these participations provided by the bank by providing 1,500 school bags to students with the opening of the bank's first branch in Menoufia Governorate.
Dr. Mohamed El-Beheiry, Deputy CEO of the Executive Sector of the Decent Life Foundation in Menoufia, indicated the foundation's endeavor to launch this initiative with the start of the second half of the school year to distribute a number of school bags and supplies to the most needy families in the governorate and support students from families with limited income in order to obtain their right to education, which is one of the most important main objectives of the "Decent Life" initiative, directing thanks to everyone who contributed to the implementation of the initiative from Menoufia University and the Directorate of Education in Menoufia Governorate. He also stressed the endeavor of the Decent Life Foundation in Menoufia to cover tuition fees and provide school uniforms, within a comprehensive vision aimed at providing a stimulating and appropriate educational environment for every student.
The event was attended by a large number of executive leaders from the Suez Canal Bank, the Ministry of Education, educational administrations, parents, students, and coordinators of the Decent Life Foundation in Menoufia Governorate.
