President of Menoufia University and Governor Visit Gaza Injuries at the University Specialized Hospital and Oncology Hospital

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, visited Gaza Injuries and Detainees at Menoufia University Specialized Hospital and Oncology Hospital. They were received by Prof. Mohamed Al-Noamani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Prof. Ahmed Sabry, Deputy Executive Director and Director General of University Hospitals, and Prof. Al-Shimaa Hanafi, Professor of Oncology.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased stressed his continuous follow-up and the work team at the university hospitals of the cases of the injured from Gaza who were received at the hospitals of Menoufia University, stressing that all medical preparations have been strengthened, specialized medical teams, intensive care and emergency rooms have been equipped, and the necessary medicines and medical supplies have been provided, stressing that these efforts come within the framework of the great Egyptian solidarity with the Palestinian people in facing the repercussions of the painful events in Gaza, and the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to support the Palestinian cause, and the role of the political leadership in various international forums to achieve justice and peace in Palestine, and Egypt's steadfast commitment to providing full support to the Palestinian cause.

The university president, the governor, and Mohamed Moussa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Crescent Society in Menoufia, and the accompanying team visited all the cases to congratulate them on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, and to check on them and the availability of all their needs, welcoming them all to the university hospitals and the governorate. The university president praised the distinguished medical staff at the university, and harnessing all the capabilities of the university hospitals to provide the best services to the injured and wounded around the clock, and gifts and material and food aid were distributed to patients.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased confirmed that the necessary places were also provided for the injured’s companions, and their needs were met and the necessary support was provided to them. The university president and the governor were keen to ask them about the availability of various means of support necessary for the injured, patients and their families, as all cases expressed their thanks and appreciation to all officials and the unlimited support provided to them, and to the distinguished level of the medical teams. This is their promise to the Egyptian state and the support it provides to the Palestinian cause, directing their sincere appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his efforts towards a just and permanent solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
