Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the meeting of the Applied Research Projects Committee, in the presence of Prof. Ahmed El-Fayoumi, Dean of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Ahmed El-Khouly, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Mohamed Abu El-Fotouh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Zainab Abdel Khaleq, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mohamed Fikry Fikry Zendan, Director General of Postgraduate Studies, Sherine El-Nagar, Director of the Scientific Research Department, Yasser Abdel Aziz, Director of the Research Account Unit, and Hatem Abdel Rahman.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased began the meeting by congratulating the members of the committee and the university staff on the holy month of Ramadan, praying to God to return this holy month to Egypt and its people with blessings and blessings under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that the committee reviewed the research projects submitted by the university's faculty members that are currently being implemented, which have been arbitrated, and presented the arbitration results and considered approving the start of their implementation, in addition to considering the adoption of the final technical report for some projects.
El-Kased added that during the meeting, new research projects were presented and arbitration committees were selected for them, and the current status of the projects being implemented was discussed.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the importance of the role of scientific research in developing innovative solutions to the problems facing society, whether economic, social, environmental, or health, noting that scientific research and applied research projects are a powerful tool that can be used to increase production, solve problems facing society, achieve sustainable development, and improve the quality of life, through investment in scientific research.
