Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University's Public Service Center, chaired the meeting of the Center's Board of Directors, in the presence of Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University, Prof. Mohamed Saafan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Hassan Eliwa, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Nahed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Khaled Hamza, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Ahmed El-Kholi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Ashraf Hashem, Supervisor of the Public Service Center, Eman Salah, who acted as Director General of the General Administration of Community Service, and Samah Abdel Aziz, Financial and Administrative Director of the Center.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that the committee reviewed the development of the curriculum matrix to provide high-quality services and content to the surrounding community and add a group of certified trainers with experience, competence and experts to train at the center, in addition to developing the environment surrounding the Public Service Center to suit the university's position and leadership in terms of aesthetics and environment, adding that a new unit was established at the center to train on designing and implementing semi-automatic carpets "Taft", porcelain and pottery.
El-Kased explained that the committee reviewed the center's activities during the past period and the minutes of the previous session were approved.
El-Kased directed the need to make optimal use of the Public Service Center and add more social and cultural activities to the services it provides to the community, stressing the need to accurately define the center's objectives and diversify its services to contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable development with regard to human resources from students or graduates and the people of the governorate.
The center offers five specialized training programs in languages at their levels, computer skills, and professional financial accountant, in addition to a group of training programs in various fields.
