Menoufia University President Holds Monthly Online Graduate Studies Council Meeting

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the online Graduate Studies Council meeting, with the participation of deans and vice deans of graduate studies colleges and committee members. The meeting was also attended by Doaa Fahmy, Director General of Cultural Relations, and Mohamed Zidan, Director General of the General Administration of Graduate Studies.

During the committee meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased followed up on the progress of the university and colleges' plan for scientific research and graduate studies at the university's faculties and institutes during the second semester. He emphasized the need to overcome obstacles facing researchers and graduate students, resolve the problems of those who are struggling, and follow up on student files. He emphasized the need to complete the February 2025 registration cycles.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased noted that the session addressed topics related to the work of the General Administration of Graduate Studies and Cultural Relations. The committee approved the minutes of the previous session and reviewed the follow-up on the decisions implemented. The meeting also reviewed the annual and semi-annual reports of some graduate students registered for master's and doctoral degrees for the previous and current academic year, as well as the academic reports submitted by members of academic missions and academic reports submitted by university faculty members on their attendance at conferences within the university and abroad at Egyptian, Arab, and foreign universities.

The university president added that 202 new scientific research papers were registered for faculty members at the university and published in international journals during last February, in addition to registering 153 scientific theses for master's and doctoral degrees in the university's colleges and institutes, including 100 male and female students for master's degrees and 53 male and female students for doctoral degrees, stressing the importance of scientific research and international publishing and the necessity of visiting published research and encouraging joint scientific research that can be applied to serve society and achieve the state's goals and sustainable development.
