Under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the University's Community Service Sector, in cooperation with the Faculty of Home Economics, organized a development training convoy for the MSMEDA in Menoufia to deliver a course on "Entrepreneurial Skills" in Menoufia. The course was supervised by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Ihab El-Naasan, Dean of the Faculty of Home Economics.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, emphasized that the University is committed to qualifying and preparing university students capable of facing the labor market, possessing the necessary skills to keep pace with technological progress and all new developments in the labor market. He also emphasized providing all necessary support and facilitations to establish serious projects for youth and promote a culture of self-employment to eliminate unemployment and achieve comprehensive economic and social development. He emphasized the need to guide young people's thinking towards the idea of ​​abandoning government employment and moving towards entrepreneurship and self-employment.

He highlighted the importance of cooperation with the MSMEDA in the governorate. In helping youth.

For his part, Prof. Sobhi Sharaf pointed out that the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) aims to establish projects and provide job opportunities for youth. He noted that the agency finances small, medium, and micro enterprises with funding ranging from EGP 10,000 to EGP 30 million, depending on the needs of each activity. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, literate, and not employed by any government agency or private sector entity. For youth, the conscription status must be verified.

The students were received by accountant Ihab Hegazy, Director of the MSMEDA Menoufia Branch; Mahmoud Nada, Deputy Branch Director; and Khaled Wasel, Deputy Branch Director, in coordination with Dr. Jihan Sweid, Head of the Education Department and Student Projects Coordinator at the college. The convoy's activities were part of the college's 12th Environmental Cultural Week, held under the theme "Localization and Development of Handicrafts and Technological Industries."
