Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, today shared an annual Iftar with medical staff and shift workers at university hospitals, the National Liver Institute, and the Cancer Institute. The event was attended by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service; Prof. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University; Prof. Mohamed El-Noamani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute; deans of faculties and vice deans of the Faculty of Medicine and the Liver Institute; Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Executive Director of University Hospitals; Dr. Ahmed Attia, Executive Director of the National Liver Institute Hospital; and directors of university hospitals, the Liver Institute Hospital, and the Cancer Institute Hospital.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed the medical staff attending the iftar, expressing his happiness at participating in the annual iftar and being among them at the medical complex. He congratulated them on the last ten days of Ramadan and the approaching Eid al-Fitr, praying to God to continue to bestow the blessings of security and safety upon Egypt under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
El-Kased emphasized his pride in the medical facilities, university hospitals, the Liver Institute, and the Oncology Institute, which represent the mirror through which the community views the university, given the specialized treatment and healthcare services they provide to citizens of the governorate and neighboring governorates, in addition to the educational and training services they provide to students, graduate students, and medical service providers in the governorate.
El-Kased called on the staff of the university hospitals to persevere in their pursuit of success and excellence in providing highly effective medical services befitting Menoufia University. He emphasized that the university always supports hospitals and medical staff, whose efforts in caring for patients and performing their roles with sincerity and dedication are recognized by the state and everyone.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased also discussed with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Executive Director of University Hospitals, the directors of hospitals, and the Oncology Institute Hospital mechanisms for improving medical services in the coming period. He emphasized the university's commitment to adding the latest medical equipment in the world to its university hospitals.
For his part, Prof. Mohamed El-Noamani thanked the University President, the Vice Presidents, and the Deans of the Faculties for their commitment to being present among the medical staff, appreciating the University President's continued support for university hospitals and their staff.
Prof. Osama Hegazy also paid tribute to the medical service providers at the university hospitals and the Liver Institute, emphasizing the importance of their role in caring for patients and providing medical and awareness services to citizens.
