El-Kased: Menoufia University students have succeeded in liberating 101,750 citizens from illiteracy so far, and 6,042 citizens in the January 2025 session.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced the success of Menoufia University students in liberating 6,042 citizens from illiteracy during the January 2025 session, through the classes they contracted with the General Authority for Adult Education.
El-Kased added that the total number of citizens who have been literate by Menoufia University students since 2014 has reached 101,750 citizens, both men and women, in various villages and districts of Menoufia Governorate and outside the governorate, in cooperation with the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, Menoufia Branch.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased praised the efforts of the university students and their participation in the presidential initiative "Egypt Without Illiteracy" as part of the Decent Life Initiative. He emphasized Menoufia University's commitment to supporting the Egyptian state's efforts in all fields under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his constant endeavors to improve the level of services provided to the most needy villages. He noted that literacy is a national issue that must be addressed and eradicated within the framework of the university's social and national responsibility towards the nation.
The university president thanked the Adult Education Center at the Faculty of Education and the students and faculties participating in the initiative and the national project for literacy and adult education.
For his part, Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, emphasized that the university is keen on students' active participation in the Villages Without Illiteracy initiative, in addition to their participation in the integrated convoys organized by the university to villages in the governorate and beyond, and their participation in the presidential initiative for human development "A New Beginning for Human Development." He thanked the students and the Adult Education Center for their efforts and efforts to achieve the center's goals.
