Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, confirmed the readiness of university hospitals and the National Liver and Oncology Institute at the university to receive medical and emergency cases and to raise their level of preparedness during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

El-Kased also emphasized the availability of medical supplies, medications, and strategic stocks in the blood bank. He also emphasized the efficient operation of CT scan machines and laboratories to provide comprehensive medical services at university hospitals during the Eid holiday, in coordination and cooperation with hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Population.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased also directed raising the state of readiness in the emergency departments, forensic medicine and toxicology departments at university hospitals, increasing the number of doctors on duty in various medical departments, and regulating vacations and rest periods based on the available manpower at hospitals, the Liver Institute, and the Oncology Institute Hospital. This is to provide the necessary number of medical staff in the reception, emergency, critical care, toxicology, surgery, and orthopedics departments.
