Menoufia University Wins First Place in Short Story and Second Place in Television Reporting at the 13th Ibdaa Festival

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that the university's students won first place in short story and second place in television reporting during the final stage of the literary competitions at the 13th Ibdaa Festival. The festival is held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for students from public and private universities, institutes, and academies, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Higher Education. The event aims to develop youth talent in the fields of literature, arts, and scientific and social innovation.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased praised the competition's role in supporting youth, emphasizing the university's commitment to encouraging students to be creative and innovative, and providing them with the necessary support to achieve excellence in various fields. He added that the university always seeks to encourage students to participate in national competitions that contribute to developing their skills and fostering a spirit of constructive competition between them and their colleagues from other universities.

El-Kased also thanked the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports for organizing this distinguished event, which provides young people with the opportunity to express their abilities and showcase their talents. He congratulated the winning students in the competition.

Prof. Nasser Abdelbari, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, added that the university students' participation in the "Ibdaa 13" competition for university youth comes within the framework of the university's commitment to supporting student talent in various artistic, cultural, and scientific fields. He expressed his confidence in the university students' abilities to achieve advanced positions in various competitions.

The university participated in the festival in the literary categories of "Short Story - Specialized and Non-Specialized Television Reporter." Students were promoted from university to university and traveled to the Abu Qir Youth City to judge the festival. Mahmoud El-Sayed Mamdouh, a fourth-year student in the Faculty of Commerce, won first place in the short story category at the Egyptian university level. Asmaa Nabil Gaber Mustafa, a third-year student in the Faculty of Media, won second place in the specialized television reporter category at the Egyptian university level.

This competition was held under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Student Care; Ayman Abdel Qawy, Director of the Cultural Activities Department; and Nagah El-Mehi, Cultural Activities Officer and Delegation Supervisor.
