Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, attended the activities of the "Build Your Awareness" Initiative of the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians to build awareness among Egyptian youth. The initiative was hosted by the university and organized by the General Administration of Student Care and the General Administration of Public Relations and Media at the university. The symposium aims to educate youth about the challenges facing the nation and enhance public awareness of Egyptian national security issues by engaging with various segments of society, most notably university students. The symposium was attended by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary-General of the University; Representative Alaa Mustafa, a member of the Senate representing the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians; Representative Iman El-Alfy, a member of the House of Representatives representing the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians; Hossam Hefny, a member of the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians; and politician Engineer Ahmed Sabry, a member of the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians, as well as deans of faculties and university students.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed the university guests and symposium attendees, noting Menoufia University's keenness to host this important initiative. This initiative emphasizes that building awareness is not just a slogan, but a shared responsibility between the state and educational institutions. This stems from the Egyptian state's strategic vision to build a new republic based on active participation and comprehensive development, and in implementation of the directives and interest of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in developing the political awareness of youth, as they are the primary drivers of shaping the nation's future. He emphasized that political awareness is the impregnable shield that protects individuals and societies from intellectual deviation, cultural dependency, and political polarization. He added that nations are not built by slogans, but rather by conscious will, a critical mind, and a loyal heart. Aware youth are the true guarantors of a nation's stability and prosperity. Prof. Ahmed El-Kased emphasized in his speech that Menoufia University will continue to support every effort that contributes to raising the awareness of its students. The university is not only a place for academic education, but also for creating thoughtful minds and aware hearts. We are here to provide our students with the tools and knowledge that will help them build their political awareness without bias, because Egypt's future is being built today by their hands and ideas.

The university president expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians, this effective national platform, and its efforts to connect the state's vision with the aspirations of youth, shaping a future based on a deep understanding of the role of youth in decision-making. Thanks go to everyone who contributed to the establishment of this edifice, and appreciation for your active participation in this symposium, which comes within the framework of strengthening national dialogue and building a bridge of communication between decision-makers and future generations. He also expressed his confidence that the university is a beacon of thought and awareness.

Senator Alaa Mustafa reviewed the general concept of national security, which transcends the most commonly used political concept, encompassing important issues such as education, the economy, health, culture, youth development, and political stability. He also spoke about the people's confidence in the Egyptian leadership and its prominent role in addressing important national issues, which support the cohesion within society, such as education, health, and general cohesion among various segments of society, most notably the nation's youth, who are aware of the issues facing the country, especially given the recent events surrounding the Palestinian cause, which began in October 2023. He pointed out that the war on the region is not limited to weapons, but has extended to artificial intelligence wars and attempts to distort the facts for the Arab people regarding the political situation and its relationship to national security. Engineer Ahmed Sabry, a member of the Youth Coordination of Parties and Politicians, also pointed out the importance of combating extremist ideology and fake news using artificial intelligence, which aims to mislead the truth about the Palestinian cause. The Egyptian state strongly supports this principle of "No to the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip." He emphasized the need for young people to understand this concept, given their active role within society and the importance of protecting the collective consciousness of Egyptians as the first line of defense for the state and its national institutions.

Hossam Hanafi, a member of the Youth Coordination of Parties, emphasized that the Egyptian state relies on the awareness, commitment, and commitment of its youth to building a society that understands the meaning of belonging, especially since Egyptian youth today have a full understanding of the dimensions of the Palestinian cause and stand behind the state's position in rejecting displacement plans and the liquidation of the cause. This is especially true after French President Macron's visit to Egypt in the past few days, where he clarified Egypt's understanding of the Palestinian cause and its steadfastness and solidarity with the steadfast Palestinian people.

MP Iman Al-Alfi also spoke about the psychological aspect of current events related to Egypt's national security and combating fake news on news platforms that are targeting Egypt and seeking to spread chaos within society, especially among young people, and destabilize political stability by disseminating false news about the economy, health, and education. She called on young people and university students to stand together against false ideological trends that aim to disintegrate society. She emphasized that Egypt, a sovereign state that protects the Arab region, is the primary bulwark of political and economic stability in the region. The seminar concluded with answers to numerous student inquiries about important issues related to the Egyptian economy, addressing the current, expected, and hoped-for political situation regarding the ongoing Palestinian conflict, and Egypt's political role in this regard.
