Under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, Menoufia University, in cooperation with the leadership of the Popular Defense Forces and the Military, organized the first National Education Course for Female Students. This course falls within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Defense, represented by the Popular Defense Forces Command, and the Ministry of Higher Education. The course was supervised by Prof. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Colonel Mustafa Akid, Director of the University's Military Education Department.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased noted that Menoufia University has launched National Education Courses for female students at the university's colleges. This course is part of national efforts to enhance awareness and national belonging among female students, preparing them to become active members of society. He noted that these courses are part of Menoufia University's commitment to actively participating in supporting the Egyptian state's efforts to achieve sustainable development in various fields.
The envoy emphasized that Menoufia University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, will continue its efforts to ensure the success of these courses and achieve their goals of preparing female students intellectually and nationally, thus contributing to building an informed generation capable of contributing to the process of progress and development. Prof. Nasser Abdel Bari added that these courses aim to develop national awareness among female students, hone their skills, and instill values of loyalty and belonging within them through lectures and activities that enhance their understanding of their role in nation-building and community service. He emphasized the university's commitment to supporting national efforts in this regard and strengthening its awareness-raising role in various fields.
These courses aim to promote the values of loyalty and belonging and inform students of the state's development efforts at various levels. They include an introduction to the role of the armed forces in combating terrorism, protecting the state's borders, and its role in development. They also include historical lectures on the Arab-Israeli conflict, the 1948 War, the Tripartite Aggression, the 1967 War, and the October 1973 War. Lectures, in coordination with the colleges of the Medical Complex, will also be held on first aid and blood and plasma donation.
